The College Park Cares 5K Race wraps around tree–lined Lake Artemesia. This flat, USATF–certified course, features electronic timing and is designed for speed and setting personal records.

The 2008 College Park Cares 5k event offered fun for the whole family as well as a bit of friendly competition. 103 participants enjoyed the scenic race course along Lake Artemesia, and a moonbounce, face painting, and other activities provided something for everyone! Race Results

The 2007 College Park Cares 10K event was a great event for the whole family. Proceeds from the race benefited Dimensions Health Care, a not–for–profit healthcare system serving residents of Prince George's County. With the moonbounce, facepainting, the Bowie Baysox mascot and other activities, it was a fun time for everyone.

2006

The 2006 College Park Cares 10K event was not only about fun, competition and early sunshine. It raised money for the Archdiocesian Health Care Network (AHCN) located in Prince George's County. AHCN provides medical services to children in low income families who are uninsured. Many runners came for the cause, but others came simply for the thrill of the race and the family–oriented activities.

2005

There were 220 participants and 170 race finishers. Great Job Everyone!

A heart–felt thanks goes out to all the volunteers, participants and sponsors that helped make the first annual College Park 10K and Fun Walk such a great success. With your help we were able to contribute over $10,000 dollars to the Medical Care for Children Partnership and greatly improve the quality of life for the under privileged children of Prince George's County.
