Why College Park Cares?

The College Park Cares 5K Race, 1.5 Mile Walk, and Kids' Fun Run will be held Saturday, September 24, 2011. The events start with the Kids' Run, followed by the 5K Race and the Walk. The 5K race (3.1 miles) begins and ends on the Paint Branch Trail, next to the Ellen Linson Swimming Pool in College Park, MD, and wraps around tree-lined Lake Artemesia. This flat, USATF certified course, features electronic timing and is designed for speed and setting personal records.
